About.
Giles Andreae is a singer-songwriter based near Oxford.
His songs are, for the most part, delicate, folk and country-influenced elegies - to love, family and friendship.
They unfold through lyrically haunting, emotional landscapes and stories; unsurprising perhaps, given his career to date.
Giles is the creator of the cartoon poet, Purple Ronnie, and the artist-philosopher, Edward Monkton. He is also the children's author behind stories such as the international bestseller, Giraffes Can't Dance.
In these various guises, Giles has sold over 150 million greetings cards and 10 million books, a number of which have topped The Sunday Times book charts.
Songs from a Father is his first album.
